How we build productivity tools for a new world of digital work and life: The world of work is changing. People around the globe now have an almost infinite number of digital tools at their disposal to help them get things done. Not only that, these tools continue to blur the lines between work and life. In this changing environment, the way we build products to enhance people's productivity needs to keep up. Join a panel of team members from Yammer and the Microsoft Experience Design team as they share their thinking about thriving in this changing landscape. Members of the Yammer team will then provide you with a tour of our innovative office space on 1355 Market St and show you how we get our work done. Session presenters include: 1) Ron Blandford, Yammer Product Manager - a long time Yammer employee, will share Yammer's data driven, iterative product development methodology. 2) Hilarie Mazur, Senior Data Scientist, Yammer - an expert in Product Analytics and A/B testing, Hilarie will share how Yammer uses data science to drive product engagement. 3) Peter Martin, Director of Engineering at Microsoft Experience Design - will share how XD approach innovation and demonstrate some of their design explorations in to smart apps – ones that exhibit ambient intelligence, anticipate our needs, and optimize for work and life.
