Session Description: Our NewCo presentation will begin by acknowledging the winemaking rebels that called SF home a century ago, then we'll describe how Bluxome has revitalized this history by bringing wine making back to the city. We'll offer the audience a window into our winemaking style and community programming that both pair perfectly with San Francisco's dynamic epicurean culture. Given that NewCo will be onsite during harvest, hopefully there will also be an opportunity to interact with the winemaking process if grapes are coming in that day.

  • Company Description Bluxome Street Winery crafts some of Northern California's finest Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and a dozen varietals that are built for the table and made to transmit the characteristics of their unique sites. We seek the highest quality grapes from cool-climate pockets in Sonoma County, including our own certified organic Balinard Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. As important as our wine is to us, the team at Bluxome is also bent on providing an exceptional hospitality experience and reestablishing the winemaking tradition in San Francisco - the heart of the industry prior to the 1906 earthquake and Prohibition.
