YY Axis is a marketing consultancy - an idea I acted upon (fittingly enough as I consider myself an idea generator, and a good one at that) after working for several years in music. Music is part of my foundation, but I'm also passionate about connecting people and helping great ideas become reality.



My reality is that I started out as a talent buyer for Santa Clara University before working with Mammoth Records on their marketing team and working albums for artists such as the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Creeper Lagoon, Joe Henry, and a KCRW compilation. After a brief time at Clear Channel Radio, came Clear Channel Entertainment (formerly Bill Graham Presents and currently Live Nation) and the new sponsorship marketing group where I managed accounts including Stella Artois, Volkswagen, Cingular Wireless, and the SF Chronicle and found that my ideas could help fund the music and concerts I love. I was hooked and later put my ideas to use for YY Axis and various industries including live entertainment, gourmet foods, fashion, and technology.
